Marque
Virtual
Care

See a Marque clinician or CHOC pediatrician virtually from the comfort of home for most non-emergency conditions. These are the same medical providers you’d see at our clinic, and they can direct you for advanced testing or images at our locations if necessary.

The flu or COVID infection, a potentially serious respiratory illness, often begins the same way a cold does. But the symptoms progress much more rapidly. The flu shot is your best defense against the flu, but even if you’ve had the flu shot, you should see a physician if you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms described below, especially if they’re severe.

Common COVID symptoms:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat

  • Sore throat
  • Runny nose
  • Sneezing
  • Nasal congestion
  • Mucous discharge (yellow or green)
  • Cough
  • Mild body aches
  • Overall feeling of malaise

Marque is here to help relieve itchy, painful, and infected skin. If you or your child is experiencing skin irritation, you can see one of our board-certified clinicians virtually to address:

  • Allergic reactions and hives
  • Chickenpox
  • Eczema
  • Minor burns
  • Poison ivy
  • Rashes
  • Skin infections
  • Skin irritation, including dry, cracked, itchy or peeling skin
  • Skin fungus
  • Sunburn, sun poisoning and heat rash
  • Tick bites and insect bites

Sinus pressure is caused by the swelling and inflammation of the membranes inside your sinus passages. This irritation causes the membranes to produce more mucus to try to flush out whatever is causing the inflammation. The excess mucus then adds to the pressure inside the sinus cavities. Some triggers of sinus pressure include:
-Allergies
-Infection caused by a virus such as the cold or flu
-Infection caused by bacteria
-Fungus
-Tumors

If your nausea symptoms persist for more than 24 hours after taking over-the-counter medicine, talk to your healthcare professional. In most cases, nausea goes away without treatment and isn’t a medical emergency. However, if your symptoms don’t go away, medical care may be necessary.

Seek immediate medical help if your nausea coincides with:

  • Dehydration
  • A stiff neck
  • Confusion
  • Blood in your vomit or stool
  • Difficulty waking up
  • Severe pain in your lower right abdomen

Viral ear infections typically go away on their own, and their treatment is geared towards symptom management, including options like taking over-the-counter pain relievers for pain management. Bacterial infections, however, will require antibiotics to kill the infection. In order to determine which type of ear infection you have, you must consult with a doctor for a proper diagnosis.

Cough and sore throat can be evaluated by speaking with one of our virtual clinicians. They could order tests to confirm a bacterial or viral infection and refer you to one of our multiple clinics in Southern California.

Prescription UTI antibiotics is the fastest and most effective way to cure a UTI. They usually begin working quickly to take care of uncomfortable symptoms. UTI antibiotics can completely get rid of a urinary tract infection in a few days, but you may start feeling better sooner than that. After your diagnosis, one of our board-licensed clinicians can prescribe UTI antibiotics online for treatment of UTI if you qualify.

Have a potential strain or sprain? Get evaluated virtually by one of our Marque clinicians. They can even order an X-ray and send you to a Marque clinic or imaging center.

A virtual care visit is covered by most insurances. If you do not have insurance, or elect to self-pay, a virtual visit is only $129.

Applicable deductibles and copayments will also be collected prior to your virtual visit. A request for payment will be sent by email and text message before your reservation time. Please have your payment information ready, as timely payment is required to hold your spot in line. For more information about your healthcare plan and benefits, please contact your insurance carrier in advance.

Yes. Your virtual encounter will be conducted by the same Marque medical providers you would see if you were visiting us in person. The medical provider can also let you know if your condition needs to be seen in-person, where we can then transfer your care to a Marque clinic closest to you.

If you are an existing Marque Urgent Care patient, we will have access to your medical records during your video visit. We will also chart your video visit and maintain your records.

If you are using insurance, we will submit your visit to your healthcare plan. Applicable deductibles and copayments may be required depending on your plan. If you do not have insurance, there will be a flat fee of $129.
