Fun Facts

It has been a privilege and an honor to provide medical care to thousands of people in many countries for over 25 years in many different settings- emergency departments, urgent care centers, disaster response areas.
I grew up in the Republic of Panama and received all of my formal education after high school in the USA. I been fortunate to be able to travel extensively either to provide medical care to those in need in a disaster area, to surf in exotic locations, or for the pleasure of seeing and appreciating a different country and culture.
My passions outside of medicine include: spending time with my wife, family and friends, surfing, stand-up paddle surfing, swimming, diving, spearfishing, playing guitar, singing, reading, writing, boating, fishing, golf, and riding horses.
