Dr. Keni is a pediatrician who specializes in urgent care medicine for children. She completed her fellowship training in pediatric endocrinology at UCLA-Mattel Children’s Hospital, David Geffen School of Medicine. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Physiology and Neuroscience at University of California at San Diego with an emphasis in Human Physiology and Neuronal Signaling and Migration. This was followed by her medical doctorate at St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies, where she graduated with honors. Dr. Keni is the recipient of several awards and grants including: Iota Epsilon Alpha, Medical Honors Society, Philadelphia Pediatric Society Award 2007, Pediatric Resident Teacher of the Year Award 2007, Endocrine Fellow Foundation Research Grant 2008, NIH T32 Human and Molecular Development Fellowship Grant 2008, Karolinska Institutet-18th Advanced Postgraduate Grant on Growth and Growth Disorders 2009, and 2010 Science Day UCLA Department of Pediatrics Best Poster Award.
